Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using ParkPing, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
What ParkPing Does
ParkPing is a parking detection and reminder app designed to help you remember to pay for parking. Here's what you need to know:
- ParkPing detects when you've parked and sends you a reminder to pay
- ParkPing does NOT process parking payments
- ParkPing does NOT guarantee you will never receive a parking fine
- You are solely responsible for paying your parking fees on time
User Responsibilities
By using ParkPing, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when setting up your account
- Ensure location services are enabled for the app to function properly
- Always verify parking regulations and payment requirements in your area
- Pay all parking fees through official channels (parking apps, meters, etc.)
- Not rely solely on ParkPing for parking compliance
Service Availability
While we strive to provide reliable service, ParkPing is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that notifications will always be delivered on time. Factors beyond our control (device settings, network connectivity, battery life) may affect app performance.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ParkPing and its developers shall not be liable for:
- Parking fines or penalties you incur
- Missed notifications or detection failures
- Any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from app use
- Loss of data or device issues related to the app
Location Services
ParkPing requires location access to detect parking events. By using the app, you consent to location data collection as described in our Privacy Policy. You can revoke location access at any time, but this will prevent the app from functioning.
Prohibited Uses
You may not:
- Use the app for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or hack the app
- Interfere with other users' access to the service
- Use automated tools to access the app without permission
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to ParkPing at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes through the app. Your continued use of ParkPing after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of ParkPing shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the UAE.
